Introduction:

The trigonometric ratios (circular functions) are defined as follows:

• (here sine of the angle is defined as )the ratio r/r it is denoted by sin

• sin =y/r ; cosecant values at =r/y = cosec ; y ≠ 0 and cos =x/r ; secant values at =r/x = sec ; x ≠ 0

• tan =y/x ; cotangent values at =x/y = cot ; y ≠ 0
